How to Add a Booking Note

See also: Reminder Notes

Every booking can have its own booking note.

Go into the booking account (Charges) for a booking and press the F key when the cursor is in the Code column.

If no previous notes exist, a message will pop up advising you to Add a new booking note.

The Notes Window

To add a new note , click on the Add button .

You only need to enter notes in one area.

General Memo: This is where you should type your notes about the booking. It's a free form area and you can type as much as you like. When you go past the bottom line, a scroll bar will appear at the right side of the typing area.

Although you can add many note records, it may be best to just Add one note and then Edit the note, adding text to the note.

Compatible Notes: There are six lines here into which you can enter text. This area was included in the notes program to remain backward compatible with older DOS versions of UniRes.

Your Eyes Only Memo: This area will be open if you have supervisory permission and you are using Passwords. Use it to record more sensitive text.

After adding text, click on the Save button.

The next time you go into the booking record, a message will flash on the screen to remind you that a booking note is on file.

You can add as many notes for the booking as you wish, but usually one is enough.
