System Requirements

• Intel Pentium class processor
• Good quality Intel certified Motherboard (preferred)
• 1024Mb RAM Win XP/2000. 2Gb RAM for Windows Vista
• 500 Mb Free Hard Disk...
• CD/DVD ROM Drive
• SVGA  Monitor (1024 X 768 Minimum Screen Display Resolution minimum)
• 101 Keyboard (Nothing too fancy is better)
• Mouse Pointing Device
• SVGA Card (try to avoid S3 display cards)
• Windows Compatible Printer (Graphics printer or Dot Matrix)
• Thermal Receipt printer or TMU 220 Epson printer

UniRes requires the following minimum hardware requirements …

• Sound Card and Speakers (to take advantage of our Multimedia Help system)
• Internet Connection for Remote support
• Additional Printer Ports if more than one printer is required.
• 100 Mhz Network Card (if you are going to Network UniRes.  Addition Licences required)
• Networking Switch  only required if more than two computers are required.
• UPS (Battery Backed-up Power Supply) to buffer any power failures or power spikes) Very Important!

Technicians : Please set hard drive cache off if no UPS is present.

Optional, but recommended …

• Microsoft Windows 2000 +SP3/NT/XP/Vista
• Open TCP Port 550 for on-line support
• Window Media Player (Usually installed with Windows) (Recommended)
• Internet Explorer Ver 5.5 upwards. (Optional)
• MS Outlook (Internet Mail Client) (Optional)
• MS Word  (Optional)
• MS Office for UniRes Graphical Statistics
• Ahead - NERO - CDRW CD ROM burning software and InCD Packet Writing Software for UniRes Backups.
• or USB Memory Sitck for Backing up your data
